Paying by credit card win or lose?

A new rule introduced on Saturday January 13th, 2018 stops businesses, including tour operators, charging their customers a fee when paying by credit card.

In reality, the banks have not lowered their charges and the tour operators and holiday companies are being forced to absorb the cost in their own prices.

Or are they?
