Celestial flying gondolas connect in La Paz


AS part of the recent launch of the latest exclusive programs of CRILLON TOURS, the seventh line of the La Paz Cable Car will open on July 14, when the celestial flying gondolas connects with the other 6 lines, to the South & to El Alto, arriving for the first time in the heart of downtown La Paz. This new line opens a colorful range of new possibilities, complementing new and appealing combined tours to-and-from the Bolivian high plateau & Lake Titicaca.

Bolivia inaugurates new cable car route

A new Mi Teleferico 5-station Blue Line connecting La Paz, El Alto with Lake Titicaca and the pre-Inca archaeological site of Tiwancu has opened in #Bolivia.

The Blue Line operates entirely in El Alto and can transport 30,000 passengers daily. The Blue Line terminates at Ex Rio Seco Station which will facilitate access to Lake Titicaca and the archaeological site of Tiwanku, located an hour’s drive away. 

Geodyssey’s 24 day ‘Bolivia Explorer’ tour includes a ride in the Mi Teleferico cable car.

Andes Adventure

SOUTH AMERICA'S first luxury sleeper train, Belmond Andean Explorer is expected to launch May 2017, is set to travel along one of the highest rail routes on earth traversing the Peruvian #Andes from Cusco to Lake Titicaca and Arequipa, exploring natural wonders and ancient kingdoms on one and two night journeys travelling through some of the most breathtaking scenery.

A choice of journeys will be available:

‘Peruvian Highlands’, a two night, three day journey departing from Cusco, across the highest plains of the Andes to Puno and Lake Titicaca and then onwards to the city centre of Arequipa.

‘Spirit of the Andes’ journey traverses the Altiplano from Lake Titicaca to Cusco, for an overnight escape.
