Oman Air Celebrates Two Wins

OMAN Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has won two prestigious design awards – best New First Class 2018 and Best New Lounge 2018 in TheDesignAir Awards 2018. 

TheDesignAir Awards have been running for six years and celebrate the very best in aviation design across the globe. The judging panel, made up of eight aviation and design experts, awarded Oman Air with the accolades following the unveiling of the new lounge at Muscat Airport and the launch of the three-class Dreamliner earlier this year.

Up in the air . . .

AMERICAN AIRLINES customers will get an upgraded travel experience when the carrier introduces the latest addition to its fleet – the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner –- into service from the UK’s Manchester Airport to Chicago. 

The Dreamliner has 28 fully lie-flat business class seats, and an additional 55 main cabin seats with extra legroom. Every seat has a touchscreen monitor loaded with up to 260 movies, 240 TV shows, 13 radio channels, 350 albums, and 20 games.
