Scandinavian Airlines System, on the other hand, continues to prove itself an environmentally conscious carrier at Heathrow, coming up first in the rankings.

Up in the air …

EASYJET has added 12 weekly summer flights from London Luton Airport to Amsterdam and Barcelona, and an extra daily flight to Zurich for next winter.

The airline’s UK commercial manager, Neil Slaven, said: ‘Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Zurich are extremely popular connections from Luton, and we’re therefore delighted to be able to cater for the extra demand.

SCANDINAVIAN airline SAS is extending its Go Light fare offer on flights to all of its European destinations. From April 27, passengers traveling with carry-on bags only will be able to fly at a lower price.

“We’ve listened to our customers, who want a more scaled-down option and tickets in a lower price range for those travelling without check-in bags,” says Stephanie Smitt Lindberg at SAS.
