Robots get ready for battle

IT'S A battle for the survival of the fittest Dalek next half term at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton, Somerset. Robots from all over Britain will be trundling towards the museum for an all-out battle to grind, slam and crush the opposition.
The event – April 16 and 17 – is being organized by Robo Challenge whose expertise in building robots is seen on TV's The Gadget Show. Many participants of the television show will compete with their mechanical warriors behind the bullet proof Robo Challenge Arena.
There will also be robot building workshops (spaces are limited, so register early on the day). If you ever wanted to know what it would be like to be a roboteer, then this is the perfect opportunity. This unique experience teaches the participants how robots work, and is suitable for ages seven and above.
