British Airways launches bonus Avios promotion

MEMBERS can use Avios collected as normal, including on cutting the cost of future flights to the UK and Europe British Airways has launched a new bonus Avios promotion, where customers can collect up to 16,000 bonus points by simply taking flights between the UK and Europe. 

Customers who register, book and fly by June 30, 2018, can collect 4,000 bonus Avios if they take two or more British Airways return flights between the UK and Europe, or 16,000 bonus Avios should they take four or more return flights. Flights to Europe connecting through London are valid in the promotion. 

This means that a customer taking two return trips from Singapore to Paris, Amsterdam or Rome, for example, would earn 4,000 bonus Avios, thanks to the connection through London.

Travel the world for half the Avios

BRITISH AIRWAYS is offering customers the chance to travel the world for half the number of Avios usually required.

Available for booking until December 17, the airline will offer World Traveller (long-haul economy) flights from Heathrow or Gatwick to more than 90 long-haul destinations for 50 per cent fewer Avios.

This means that customers can book a return flight to Toronto or New York using just 13,000 Avios instead of 26,000, to Johannesburg for 16,250 Avios instead of 32,500 or to Hong Kong for 19,500 Avios instead of 39,000.
