• Real-time queue updates – for check-in and security to plan your time at the airport.
• Intuitive maps - guiding passengers through the airport using 2,000 navigation beacons located throughout terminal buildings.
• Shopping and eating offers – specific to your terminal and instantly redeemable from your phone.

Personalised flight information pushed to your phone includes boarding status and gate access, which means passengers can enjoy their time at the airport without having to hunt for flight information screens.

"Safety Tips", alert app for foreign tourists to Japan

FOLLOWING the two earthquakes in Kumamoto, Japan in April of this year an app is available for foreign tourists in #Japan to download from Google Play or itunes.

The smartphone app gives alerts for Earthquake Early Warning, Tsunami Warning, and other Weather Warnings within Japan in English, Japanese, Hangul, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.

The app provides various functions useful for both foreign tourists and residents in Japan, such as Evacuation flowchart showing actions to be taken in the light of surrounding circumstances, Communication Card for obtaining information from people nearby, and Website Links that contain helpful information in the event of a disaster.
