Edinburgh Airport set for a strong 2015

EDINBURGH AIRPORT is set to serve more passengers in 2015 with the addition of several new routes and increased flight frequency.

According to the airport’s managers, 628,285 people travelled through it in January, a year-on-year rise of seven percent on 2014. The airport saw significant increases in both domestic and international traffic following the addition of a number of short and long haul routes.

The airport is looking forward to new routes being launched this spring, including Etihad Airways’ first route between Scotland and Abu Dhabi and a new service to Madrid with Iberia.
