Up in the air …

CORNWALL AIRPORT NEWQUAY has announced a raft of new routes launching in spring 2016.

FlyBe routes will include Aberdeen (as from May 28), Doncaster-Sheffield (from March 24) and Leeds Bradford, which is expected to start with a year-round service in June.

Ryanair will commence flights in April to and from Alicante, and also to Frankfurt-Hahn airport in Germany, while Aer Lingus will increase the frequency and length of season on its service from Dublin.

Al Titterington, managing director of Cornwall Airport Newquay, said: ‘This is great news for Cornwall – and those wishing to visit Cornwall. We encourage those across the travel trade – both leisure and business – to take another look at flying their customers to Cornwall. It’s a great destination for those who wish to enjoy a UK holiday.’
