IN March 2017, 287,000 bednights were recorded in #Helsinki, of which 140,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 147,000 nights by foreigners.
Domestic bednights increased 18 percent and foreign bednights increased 20 percent. In total, bednights increased 19 percent from last year's March.
Most foreign bednights in Helsinki were recorded for Japanese (14,100 nights).
The FIS Nordic Ski Championships in Lahti in February and March and the World Figure Skating Championships in Helsinki increased the number of nights spent in Helsinki in March.
