Haven launches Deck Houses

HAVEN has introduced an accommodation alternative at its Caister-on-Sea Holiday Park in Norfolk. Its Deck Houses have large open plan living spaces with 40” flat screen TVs and Bluetooth speaker, family dining rooms, and balconies or patios.

The bedrooms are en-suite and the kitchens are fully-equipped.

Deck Houses are available with two or three bedrooms that sleep up to four or six people and come with their own allocated parking spot.

Prices for a four-night break start at £329 based on a family of up to four.

Europe’s best …

HOLIDAY PARK SPECIALS has named what its customers think are the best #holidayparks in #Europe.

For the third year in a row, Efteling Village Bosrijk has been named the best holiday park in the Netherlands. With a rating of 8.8, it has also claimed the title of the Most Atmospheric Holiday Park in Europe. 

Another winner to take a prize for the third consecutive year is the Dutch park group Landal GreenParks, part of Wyndham Vacation Rentals. The company has also won awards for two of their German holiday parks.

The best holiday park in Belgium is Domaine Le Boulac in the Ardennes, while the award for top park in Germany went to Lindner Ferienpark Nurburgring.

The award for most child-friendly holiday park went to the Dutch Slagharen theme park and resort.

£25 million refurb plan for Park Resorts

PARK RESORTS is investing £25 million in preparation for the 2016 holiday season. It will be expanding its accommodation options, with luxury lodges (some with hot tubs), self-catering caravans, and glamping villages with safari tents.

Included in the preparations is the addition of a new holiday park. Summerfields, near Great Yarmouth, will bring the total number of the operator’s holiday parks in England, Wales, and Scotland to 49, ten of which will stay open over the February half term for the first time.

Three of the parks will offer holiday childcare, with professionals running daytime childcare activities for children aged 2-8 years.
