Pop the question in St.Ives

THE next Valentine’s Day is almost another year away, but love is still in the air at the Tregenna Castle resort in St. Ives, Cornwall.

Couples planning to make the ultimate declaration to each other can now take advantage of the resort’s Proposal Package. During a stay in one of the hotel’s luxury self-catering lodges, twosomes can sit down to a three-course meal cooked in their lodge’s kitchen by one of the hotel’s chefs.

And after the meal, they can get a bird’s eye view of St. Ives as they take to the skies for a helicopter ride over the town.

James Parker, operations director at Tregenna Castle, said: ‘For many people, planning the perfect proposal can be more stressful than planning the wedding day itself, so we thought we’d lend a helping hand and relieve them of some of the stress.
