Get snapping!

#EDINBURGH BUS TOURS is challenging visitors and locals to capture the best vistas of the city’s historic skyline with a #photography #competition. 

Running until January 4, visitors can submit their best snaps via Facebook (facebook.com/edinburghtour) and Twitter (@edinburghtour), using the hashtag #wishyouwerehere.

The winner will have their photograph displayed in all of the Transport for Edinburgh group's Travelshops, and a donation of £500 will be made in their name to a local charity.

Kenny Campbell, tour operations manager at Edinburgh Bus Tour, said: ‘With three routes running this winter, people will be able to snap a host of famous sites and landmarks, from the gothic history of the Old Town and the Georgian grandeur of the New Town to the shimmering waters of Leith and the natural beauty of Holyrood Park. Our buses run every day except Christmas Day, so there are plenty of opportunities to capture a masterpiece over the festive season. I look forward to seeing all the entries and I'm sure it'll be a tough job to choose a winner.’
