Up in the air . . . UK to Europe

LUFTHANSA’S budget airline Eurowings has started direct flights from Vienna to London Stansted, Barcelona, and Palma Majorca. 

BRITISH AIRWAYS is to operate a twice-weekly summer service from Heathrow to Palermo, Sicily, from April next year. Fares start from £61 each way, including complimentary hold luggage allowing for the free carriage of golf clubs.

FLYBE has launched a daily winter service from Southampton to Dusseldorf. It will run until March next year.
