Tourism worth £1.8 billion … and 108,000 jobs

UKinbound will be at the forefront of voicing the UK tourism industry’s concerns ahead of next year’s general election after new research found the sector is worth more than £1.8 billion to the UK economy and supports 108,000 jobs.

The organization’s CEO Deidre Wells says it is numbers like these that will help it in discussions with government and get recognition of its importance to the country’s economy.
