In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it has more than 15 miles of pathways. The trails, which are open to walkers, horse riders, and cyclists, follow the mineral tramways and railways which used to serve the copper mines.
Other facilities include a café where visitors can watch live webcams of the Tamar Valley’s wildlife.
There are also opportunities to try your hand at tree surfing, tree jumping, zip-wire, canoeing the Tamar, archery, and bushcraft and rope courses. Activities are closed for the winter, and will re-open in February.
The trails are open to the public every day throughout the year: www.tamartrails.co.uk
