Fine Dining on the Adriatic Coast

THE iconic beachfront Atlantic Hotel Riccione, #Italy has started hosting a series of monthly fine dining events with menus created by award-winning European chefs specially invited to cook at its renowned Green Restaurant. 

The evenings dubbed ‘Dinner with the Stars’ will take place monthly and will be dedicated to fine dining tradition for discerning guests and their palates. Award winning chefs from Europe will take over the kitchen and create unique menus for one night only. The ingredients for all their dishes will be locally sourced from the province’s rich agricultural farmland.

Luxurious yet down to earth

TOM KERRIDGE has announced plans to open his first #London restaurant situated on the ground floor of the Corinthia Hotel in Westminster. The current restaurant within the hotel will close in June for the transition to take place with luxury interior design specialists in charge of converting the space into a relaxed British brasserie-style restaurant by Tom Kerridge.

After planning to launch his debut London restaurant at The Rib Room at Jumeirah Carlton Tower last year, Kerridge has had to alter his plans which means that we will now see him open at a different venue. Thomas Kichs, Corinthia's hotel managing director explained that they have been looking to provide their guests with the true British hospitality experience.

A secret dinner in a noble palace

Berlin tops for Michelin stars in Germany

THE new #Michelin Guide has been introduced and the associated star awards for fine dining restaurants announced. There are now 18 #restaurants boasting 25 stars altogether in #Berlin. 

The restaurant einsunternull in Hannoversche Strasse in Mitte has received its first star. Just around the corner in Chausseestraße is the restaurant that is the second winner of the evening: Rutz, which already had one star and received two this year from the Michelin judges. The team led by chef Marco Müller has already received many awards and the Rutz with its accompanying wine bar is well-known name in the Berlin restaurant scene.

The definitions of the stars have been in place since the 1930s: One star: “A very good restaurant in its category”. Two stars: “Excellent cooking, worth a detour”. Three stars: “Exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey”

Sky high dining

#Ottawa2017 is pleased to welcome feast + revel, the signature restaurant of Andaz Ottawa ByWard Market, as the Official Sky Lounge Culinary Partner and to announce that Executive Chef Stephen La Salle will create the menu for this unforgettable culinary experience. Tickets to the Sky Lounge will go on sale at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 28. 

Canada’s 150th anniversary celebrations will offer Canadians and visitors from around the world an exceptional and memorable year of high-caliber experiences while bringing a record number of visitors to Ottawa in 2017 to celebrate this important milestone for our country.

An Ottawa 2017 Signature Event, the Sky Lounge will take flight between July 14 to 20, 2017 at Ottawa City Hall. Each evening, participants will be hoisted 46 meters (150 feet) in the air over the city, to enjoy breathtaking views and fine dining.

Two different culinary journeys will be offered, the Sky Lounge Cocktail experience and the three course Sky Lounge Gourmet Dinner experience.

The New Forest: Coming up in 2016

FINE FARE is the theme in Milford-On-Sea, which is holding its Food Week from March 28 to April 3, featuring celebrity shows, dining offers, themed dining evenings, cooking demonstrations, educational talks, and wine tastings. 

There will be plenty of cookery demonstrations and gastro-experiences at the #NewForest and #Hampshire County Show (July 26-28) at Brockenhurst. 

The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu opens the hands-on Driving Change, an interactive display featuring a crash test dummy. The display explores motoring innovations, technologies, safety, and alternative power.
