Fine Dining on the Adriatic Coast

THE iconic beachfront Atlantic Hotel Riccione, #Italy has started hosting a series of monthly fine dining events with menus created by award-winning European chefs specially invited to cook at its renowned Green Restaurant. 

The evenings dubbed ‘Dinner with the Stars’ will take place monthly and will be dedicated to fine dining tradition for discerning guests and their palates. Award winning chefs from Europe will take over the kitchen and create unique menus for one night only. The ingredients for all their dishes will be locally sourced from the province’s rich agricultural farmland.

Michelin Guide Bangkok expands for 2019

FOLLOWING the introduction in December 2017 of the first Michelin Guide Bangkok 2018, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is pleased to announce that this year will see the launch of an expanded edition also covering Phuket and Phang Nga and with increased focus on Bangkok’s inner zone and surrounding provinces. 

The Michelin Guide Bangkok, Phuket and Phang Nga 2019 will be released at the end of this year, in the same bilingual Thai and English format and in both print and digital versions.

THE Michelin Guide Nordic Countries 2018 reveals that #Denmark enforces its position as a country worth visiting for sublime gastronomic experiences. With 31 stars in total, 2 new restaurants and 3 new stars added to the list, the Michelin Guide recognizes that Denmark offers extraordinary culinary experiences in the cities as well as in the Danish countryside.

Bib Gourmand France celebrates over 644 restaurants

MICHELIN has unveiled the new Bib Gourmand selection for #France - the inspectors’ favourite establishments chosen for their very good value for money.

644 restaurants have been distinguished this year, including 105 new ones in every region of France. With its exceptionally rich terroir, its culture of eating well and the know-how of its chefs handed down from generation to generation, France has more Bib Gourmand restaurants than any other country in the world. 

The MICHELIN guide Bib Gourmand France 2018 is available from February 5 17.90 euros.

A total of 234 restaurants are awarded stars in the MICHELIN guide Tokyo 2018

THE MICHELIN guide #Tokyo 2018 has been released with 512 restaurants and 42 hotels included in the guide. 

All the restaurants awarded three stars maintain their distinction: Azabu Yukimura, Joël Robuchon, Kagurazaka Ishikawa, Kanda, Kohaku, Makimura, Quintessence, Ryugin, Sukiyabashi Jiro Honten, Sushi Saito, Sushi Yoshitake and Usukifugu Yamadaya.

The MICHELIN guide Tokyo 2018 comprises:
12 restaurants with three stars, 56 restaurants with two stars, of which 5 are new 166 restaurants with one star, of which 23 are new 278 restaurants with a Bib Gourmand, of which 59 are new.

Michelin updates German guidebook

MICHELIN Green Guide Germany has been revised as a resource for travelers seeking the full range of the country’s cultural experiences. 

Its ninth edition of the guide is now on sale at Barnes & Noble and on Amazon.com.

The guide has driving tours that include illustrated sections on modern #Germany, its history, architecture, and cultures. 

There are also detailed walk-throughs of museums, galleries, and churches.
