MALTA’S tourist numbers in February were up by 14.1% – or 9,216 – year-on-year, says the island’s National Statistics Office.
Tourist spending in January and February was up by €11 million (£7.9 million) on the same period in 2014.
All the major source markets increased tourism flows, which more than compensated for the expected declines from Libya and Russia.
