ITALY is Condé
Nast Traveller readers' favourite country for the second year consecutive
year.
What is it that impresses them about the place?
Pretty much everything, it seems. It came first in the poll thanks to remarkably
high scores in all five criteria on which the magazine asked them to vote, but ultimately
beat the competition with top marks for culture and food.
Elsewhere, they think
the US has the best places to stay (followed by France), and they love New Zealand
and Australia for their landscapes. And where do they feel most welcome? They say
that Greece is the world's most hospitable country, followed by Canada.
