FROM October 1 to November 11, Guernsey will
hold its 17th annual Tennerfest, which will see over 180 restaurants in
Guernsey and its sister island Sark offer all-inclusive menus.
Starting from just £10, with savings of almost 50% on normal prices.
Tennerfest is Guernsey's most popular foodie
event with an estimated five million meals consumed since the event’s inception
in 1998. Tennerfest participants offer menus focusing on local produce, freshly
caught fish and Guernsey specialities.
An example of a two-course £10 menu is cod, king
prawn and Guernsey crab gratin with mixed Guernsey leaves and potted cheddar,
quince and toasted Guernsey Gâche for dessert.
