Jellyfish sting kills tourist

A FRENCH boy on holiday in Thailand died after being stung by a box jellyfish, regarded as the planet’s most poisonous creature.

The tentacles of the box jellyfish are transparent and trail between two to three feet behind its body. They mostly go unnoticed by swimmers. Box jellyfish are normally found in Thailand during monsoons to October. They can also be found in Australia.
