Guide dogs cleared for Air Malta flights

GUIDE dogs can now travel with their owners on all Air Malta flights, following a change in the airline’s policy.

Fabian Mizzi, Air Malta’s passenger handling executive, said the airline felt the need to update its policy because it was confident that – providing dogs met the full membership criteria of the International #GuideDog Federation or Assistance Dog International and were well trained – they would pose no risk to other passengers.
