Not quite a cosy, boutique hotel, then!

THE world’s largest hotel is due to open in Mecca, #SaudiArabia, in 2017.

The Abraj Kudai will have 10,000 (yes, that’s 10,000!) bedrooms, 70 restaurants, four helipads, 12 towers, a bus station, and a shopping mall. It will cost $3.6 billion (£2.35 billion) to build, and will be funded by the Saudi government.

Five floors of the 45-storey building will be off limits to most guests; they will be reserved exclusively for members of the Saudi royal family.
