London’s highest garden space opens

THE sky deck at the top of Western Europe’s tallest building has been transformed with more than 2,000 plants and flowers. The View from The Shard has officially opened London’s highest summer garden space, 800ft above the city.

National floral favourites including poppies, fox gloves, lavender, marigolds, and birch trees have been planted.

Guests can book a Sky-High Tea picnic from Fortnum & Mason with their visit, or have gin-and-tonic flavoured ice-cream while taking in the views of up to 40 miles.
