REGIONAL airline Flybe has signed a
five-year agreement with London City Airport to start domestic and
international operations there from October. The move is part of a major
expansion that will see the airline increase services between the UK regions
and Ireland.
New timetables will include four
daily services from/to Edinburgh and Dublin, three from/to Belfast and Exeter
and twice daily from/to Inverness. Flybe
expects the new routes will appeal to a significant number of Canary
Wharf-based passengers who need to access the UK regions and neighbouring European
destinations quickly.
