BOB DYLAN (born Robert Zimmerman in Hibbing,
Minnesota) has been a major figure in American – and British – music for more
than five decades.
To celebrate his achievements, his home town holds a four-day
Dylan festival, which this year runs from May 22 to May 25.
It includes a singer/songwriter contest, a visual
arts competition, a Bobby Zimmerman bus tour and, of course, lots of live music.
All events are within walking distance in downtown Hibbing, and the entry fee
is a mere $20 (£11.80).
