MALTA’S 17th century St Agatha Tower (also known as The Red Tower) has been awarded Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence.
The tower, in Mellieħa, was built by the Knights of St. John to protect the straits between #Malta, Comino, and #Gozo.
It was restored in 1998 by the Din l-Art Ħelwa (the National Trust of Malta) and is maintained by volunteers and donations by tourists and islanders.
