Gourmet trail takes touring to new heights – Air Adventure #Australia has introduced a new way to experience Australia’s gastronomic highlights. Linking together, by private aircraft, the Barossa, Adelaide Hills, and McLaren Vale in South Australia, with the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, and Hobart, Freycinet Peninsula and Tamar Valley in Tasmania, the tour offers fine food, wine, and luxury. It includes gourmet cooking classes, oyster shucking, blending wine, and an introduction to fly fishing. The all-inclusive seven-night tour price is AU$10,532 (£5,000) per person twin share, based on eight guests.
Walk in the footsteps of aboriginal ancestors – Visitors to South Australia can head out with Quentin Agius from Aboriginal Cultural Tours in a Toyota Landcruiser to learn about the region’s indigenous heritage.
