THE PRESIDENT of #Argentina and the minister of tourism, Gustavo Santos, have presented a #Tourism National Plan for the next four years. It foresees an increase of up to 50 percent in international tourists to Argentina until 2020, reaching nine million foreign tourists a year. This would mean an income of almost US$1 billion a year.

The plan sees the US, Canada, Europe, China, Russia, and India as among the main source markets, with the aim of generating 300,000 additional jobs in the country’s tourist industry.
