Old Town gets a make-over

THE TRAVEL CORPORATION has announced the revitalization of Old Town in #Kissimmee, #Florida. Almost three decades after its opening, the shopping complex is being re-developed into a major central Florida destination featuring unique stores, restaurants, and family-friendly amusements. 

‘We envision a new era for Old Town and its tenants that will solidify the property as one of central Florida’s ‘must see’ iconic attractions,” said Brett Tollman, the company’s chief executive.

True to its history, Old Town’s weekly classic car cruises are a main attraction, with lengthy parades of pre-1975 hot rods. 

The $10 million renovation includes the return of the Old Town Ferris wheel, a visitor favourite that was removed from the location in 2013.
