New planes For Lufthansa

LUFTHANSA’S tenth Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental has landed at Frankfurt Airport. It is just one of seven new airliners that will be joining the fleet in February and March. Alongside three Boeing 747-8s, Lufthansa has bought one Airbus A380, one A330 and two A320.
The company expects to receive 23 ultra-modern commercial aircraft this year.
The new planes are 30 percent quieter than the older models, and they also offer improved seating space.
This year’s deliveries are part of a comprehensive fleet modernization programme underway at Lufthansa Group Airlines. A total of 261 aircraft will be delivered by 2025, at a list price of €32 billion (£26.5 billion).
