SW England Tourism awards …

NEWQUAY’S Headland Hotel has won a top tourism industry award for its self-catering cottages. It’s been named self-catering establishment of the year in the 2013/14 South West England Excellence Awards.



The Cornish hotel has one-, two- and three-bedroom 5-star cottages in its grounds overlooking Fistral Beach. ( www.headlandhotel.co.uk )

The silver award was won by Seahorse Apartments & Westward Living at Duckhaven Stud, Westward Ho! Devon ( www.westwardliving.co.uk), and the bronze prize was shared by
