See Agatha’s holiday home

THE 125th anniversary of Agatha Christie's birthday is being celebrated this year.

Her books have been translated into more than 100 languages, so fans the world over will be well placed to visit the locations relating to her life and works. One such was her holiday home, Greenway House (above), near Brixham, in Devon.

She spent summer and Christmas holidays at the house, which – managed by the National Trust –

Its walled gardens feature a restored peach house and vinery, as well as an allotment looked after by local school children. There’s also a boathouse, scene of the crime in Dead Man’s Folly.
