ALMOST half of Brits are considering a fitness holiday in 2015 – double the amount compared to last year, according to research commissioned by foreign exchange company, Travelex.
The research found that Brits are increasingly shunning the traditional party holiday for a healthy break, with boozy group trips appealing only to one in 20 people.
Alongside more predictably popular destinations such as the US and New Zealand, Travelex identified emerging destinations which are proving popular among fitness fanatics, including Bali, Tanzania, and Stockholm.
Yoga, dance classes, and meditation were high on the list for healthy holiday activities.
