Orlando Eye lights up

THE ORLANDO EYE has reached a luminous construction milestone with the installation of the observation wheel's special lighting. 

Almost 64,000 LEDs –which use 92.7% less energy than traditional light bulbs – were installed over a four-week period. 

The Eye – at 400ft the largest observation wheel on the US eastern seaboard – will offer a variety of lighting options to celebrate holidays and other special occasions when it opens in May.
