#CROATIA has reported an overall increase in #tourism arrivals of 7% for the first half of 2015. The UK proved one of the country’s largest source markets, with a 15% increase in overnight stays compared with the same period in 2014.
The government’s tourism ministry attributed the increase to a marketing programme which promoted Croatia as a viable off-peak holiday destination.
The most popular Croatian regions were Istria, Dalmatia, and Kvarner.
