Fine wine in Slovenia

SLOVENIA'S second-largest city, #Maribor, is gearing up for its 15th Old Vine Festival (October 4-November 11).

The event marks the beginning of the autumn harvest, with feasts and celebrations filling the streets as the town comes alive with music and local wine-growers and chefs showcase their produce.

Maribor is the home to the world's oldest grape vine, as verified by the Guinness Book of World Records. It has been growing fruit for more than 400 years.
