Hollywood director to switch-on Blackpool Illuminations

HOLLYWOOD movie director Tim Burton is to switch on the #BlackpoolIlluminations this year.

Burton has been a regular visitor to Blackpool in recent years, choosing to shoot scenes for his latest film, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, in the resort.

The switch-on takes place on September 4.
