Guinness Storehouse named Europe’s top attraction

#DUBLIN’S Guinness Storehouse has been named Europe’s leading tourist attraction in the World Travel Awards, hailed as ‘Oscars’ of the travel industry.

Shortlisted alongside some of Europe’s most recognizable attractions – the Acropolis, Athens; London’s Buckingham Palace, and Rome’s Colosseum – it was Ireland’s top tourist spot that won the largest public vote.

As Europe’s leading tourist attraction, the #GuinnessStorehouse will be put forward for the World Travel Awards grand final, where it is in the running to be named as the world’s leading tourist attraction.
Since its opening in 2000, the Guinness Storehouse – a seven-storey treasure trove of all things Guinness – has had more than 13 million visitors, who discover what goes into the making of each pint, learn how to pour the perfect pint in the Guinness Academy, step into the world of Guinness advertising, and get a 360-degree view of Dublin from the city’s highest bar.
