MALTA recorded a 3.5 percent year-on-year in tourist numbers in July. Total in-bound tourist trips amounted to 206,626. Tourist spending for the month was an estimated €220.2 million (£161.7 million), an 8.6 percent year-on-year increase.
From January to July, the increase in tourist numbers was 5.2 percent year-on-year, with tourist spending up by 6.7 percent.
