Up in the air …

PREPARE to be entertained on Delta flights – free of charge. Delta Studio, the airline's suite of onboard entertainment, will be free for all passengers on two-class aircraft by July 1. This covers almost 90 percent of Delta's fleet. Delta Studio offers up to 300 movies, 750 TV shows, 100 foreign film titles, 2,400 songs, 18 channels of live satellite TV on select aircraft, and a selection of games on aircraft with seat-back entertainment systems.

EASYJET passengers can now use Apple Pay for bookings made via its iOS app. Using Apple Pay passengers booking flights through the airline’s app will be able to process their booking in seconds thanks to Apple Pay’s secure quick one-touch payment function. This allows users to select the payment card of their choice and authorize a secure payment via fingerprint recognition on their device.

BRITISH AIRWAYS and Winair have announced they will offer a cost effective, same-day route from London to Dominica via Antigua. The new route will mean that British travellers can leave the UK at 10:30 GMT and be in Dominica 6.30pm local time.
