Back from holiday? Take a sickie!

ALMOST one in four workers call in ‘sick’ on their first day back from holiday, according to a survey by foreign exchange company Travelex.

And when they do go into work, many are not fired up. Half of the 2,000 people surveyed said they felt forgetful and distracted. Some 25 percent said they spent their lunch hours daydreaming about future holidays. 

The survey revealed also that men tend to pack on the day of departure, while 40 percent of women start packing a week in advance.
