Fantasy holidays … with BA

IN what could be one of the silliest, most pointless surveys done this year – or possibly this century – British Airways names the people we'd “really” like to go on holiday with this summer. 

BA Holidays obviously has cash to spare. 

It has wasted money on a survey which reveals which celebrities we'd most like to find ourselves jetting away with. Prince Harry and Kate Middleton came in the top twenty for both men and women, and celebrity royalty Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham featured in the lists of both boys and girls aged 5-12.

Collectively, adults said they most wanted to holiday with Prince Harry, and other favourite names appearing in both gender lists include Holly Willoughby and Stephen Fry. Men voted in Jeremy Clarkson and Stephen Fry as the men they'd like to go on holiday with.

Go Holiday editor David Kernek comments: With one or two notable exceptions (which certainly don’t include the royals, David Beckham and Stephen Fry) what a drearily predictable list of dreary celebs! Who was a) the ten-year-old who came up with the idea for this stupid survey, and b) the 12-year-old who signed it off?
