UK visitors to Greece on the rise

#GREECE saw 2.3 million arrivals from the UK in 2015, an increase of 14.7 percent compared to 2014. The total number of inbound visitors to Greece increased by 7.1 per cent to 23.6 million, according to data from the Bank of Greece. 

A total of 1.8 million passengers passed through Greek airports in January this year, up by 11.5 percent compared to the same month in 2015. The highest passenger traffic was recorded at the airports of Athens, Thessaloniki, Chania and Heraklion on Crete, and Rhodes.
