E-guides on the move

SCRIBD, an e-book subscription service offering 300,000 e-titles ranging from contemporary bestsellers to classics, has launched a travel category in partnership with Lonely Planet. The deal makes hundreds of Lonely Planet's travel guidebooks available as part of Scribd's monthly subscription cost.

Says Trip Adler, CEO and co-founder of Scribd: ‘Travel is the perfect category for e-books. Not only does having an e-book at one's fingertips lighten a traveller's load while on the go, Scribd offers a great value by enabling readers to access all of the Lonely Planet guides in one all-you-can-read subscription.’
