Pubs urged to back English Tourism Week

VISITENGLAND hopes to get further support for English Tourism Week (ETW) next year in a collaboration with the British Beer & Pub Association.

Pubs will be encouraged to get behind the promotional week that aims to raise awareness of the English tourism product among consumers and the trade.

Pubs have been described as a ‘beacon’ for tourists and are cited as a major attraction for 13 million foreign tourists, according to the tourism authority.

ETW will run from March 14 to March 22 next year and it is hoped pubs will get involved with English-themed menus, quiz nights, and music events.
