Pharaohs lead Egypt tourism push

EGYPT’S Minister of Tourism has announced a new campaign to boost inbound tourism to the country.
The Magic of the Pharaohs campaign will promote the country as ‘open for business’ with a focus on classic attractions including Luxor and Nile cruises.
It has been launched after tourist numbers between July and September this year saw double-digit growth.
Its UK arrival numbers were up by 15-20% year-on-year, with confidence coming back into the country following a period of political unrest.
