A World Duty Free Group flagship store is now in the Essex airport at the entrance to the departure area which also includes a new security search area and retail space.
The second phase of the £80 million development will include a new Escape airport lounge in early 2015 while new shops and restaurants will be added throughout the spring.
The new departures area is expected to be completed in autumn 2015.
