Get on your skates at the Eden Project

THE Eden Project’s ice rink opens on October 18, and will be open for everyone from twirling toddlers to pirouetting seniors until February 22.

Some 100,000 skaters a year have sharpened their skills at Eden since the rink opened in the winter of 2004.

Says Eden Live programme producer, Emma Hogg: ‘We are looking forward to celebrating a decade of skating at Eden. The rink has been a top winter attraction and a huge success and it is especially great to see skaters returning again and again.

Some of the younger ones have been coming every year and have
grown up with the rink to become skillful skaters.’

Public skate sessions costing £6 per person are 40 minutes
long and begin on the hour.

With a £35 Skater Pass Discount Card, it costs just £3 per session.

For very young skaters, there are Penguin skating aids to gain
confidence on the ice. For full details, go to www.edenproject.com
